Golden State Warriors vs Sacramento Kings
Prior to Game 3, Steve Kerr, the coach of the Golden State Warriors, shared his favorite quote from legendary basketball coach John Wooden: "Be quick, but don't hurry." He used this quote to motivate his team to take better shots, limit turnovers, and rebound aggressively, even in the absence of key players such as Draymond Green, who was suspended for the game.
The Warriors responded to Kerr's challenge and dominated the Sacramento Kings 114-97, led by a stellar performance from Stephen Curry, who scored 36 points. Kevon Looney also had an outstanding game, matching his career-high with 20 rebounds and nine assists.
Despite missing Green and Gary Payton II, who was ill, the Warriors played with pride and intensity, holding down the fort until Green returns. Curry shot 12 for 25 with six 3-pointers, and Andrew Wiggins added 20 points and seven rebounds.
Although Domantas Sabonis, the Kings player who Green stepped on in the previous game, played despite having a bruised sternum, he was unable to stop the Warriors' smothering defense. De'Aaron Fox had 26 points, 10 rebounds, and nine assists for the Kings, but his efforts were not enough to overcome the Warriors' dominance.
Jordan Poole started in Green's place and had 16 points and five rebounds, while Jonathan Kuminga, Moses Moody, and Donte DiVincenzo also contributed to the Warriors' victory.
Harrison Barnes, who previously played for the Warriors, had 17 points for the Kings, but his former team proved to be too much for Sacramento.

The Warriors will look to even the best-of-seven series in Game 4 on their home court at Chase Center.
