Promap is an online mapping system. They offer the fastest, easiest and most reliable way for busy professionals to access Ordnance Survey mapping. With over 25,000 users, they deliver value to the residential and commercial property industry. Our challenge was to drive new users to Promap.co.uk, display clear, concise information, and generate enquiries.
In order to answer this brief, we created a series of wireframes and user journey experience based on the personas to ensure that the user journey would answer to the client’s requirement. This series of wireframes included the homepage which is the key page for every site, product categories, product, pricing, contact, media, support and loads of other pages. We also created a new sitemap which we supplied supplied to the client for review.

It became apparent that the menu couldn’t be a standard conventional menu and needed expanding. We developed a fully mobile responsive mega menu. It is a menu that shows three levels of hierarchy whilst including subheadings and categorisation. This highly complex menu is fully editable within the CMS with no coding knowledge required.
An important part of this website is customer support and marketing lead generation. This means that gathering contact requests, support requests and new leads had to be managed in an efficient way. Promap adopted HubSpot as their CRM of choice and we integrated all web forms with HubSpot. Sprinkling in some extra JavaScript sugar resulted in the creation of multiple website forms with custom features; such as a calculator for license purchasing costs and the ability to duplicate secondary delegate fields in a training request form.
